Biography

Duncan McNab is an award-winning investigative journalist, bestselling author, television producer, and media adviser with over three decades of global experience. He has authored 13 books, including Recipe for Murder, and is widely recognised for his work in true crime, policing, organised crime, and transnational investigations. Duncan has produced and developed major television documentaries and series, including Murder Uncovered, and is a frequent on-screen expert on crime and law enforcement. Beyond journalism, he has served as a senior media adviser and Director of Communications at cabinet level in both Australia and the UK, specialising in crisis management, litigation support, and high-stakes communications. Earlier in his career, he was a detective with the New South Wales Police Force and a private investigator. Combining frontline investigative experience with media expertise, Duncan delivers sharp insights into crime, strategy, and effective communication.
