Biography

Carla Berbary is a seasoned Australian counsellor, educator, and mental health advocate with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and communities thrive. Holding a Master’s in Analytical Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, Carla currently practices on the Gold Coast, Queensland, where she offers a compassionate, client-focused approach to therapy.

She also tutors at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and provides Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to organisations, supporting workplace well-being through confidential counselling and practical strategies. Known for her engaging and relatable workshops, Carla empowers teams to strengthen communication and mental resilience.

She is the host of the Not a Life Sentence podcast and co-author of How to Survive and Thrive, written with Reebok founder Joe Foster, offering insights on overcoming life’s challenges.

Fluent in Arabic and English, Carla enjoys hiking, choir singing, and spending time with loved ones.
